UmmahDeals is operated by Ummah Media Group LLC ("UMG", "we", "us"). This page describes what we collect, why, and what we do with it. It applies to ummahdeals.com.

What we collect

• Account data — name, email, and UmmahPass identifier when you sign in via UmmahPass.
• Pre-order data — which drops you back, quantity, vote weight, your shipping address (if shippable), and Stripe payment-method tokens (we never store raw card numbers; Stripe does).
• Survey responses — the optional /back/success questionnaire ("why did you join?"). We use this to decide which drops to run next.
• Newsletter signups — your email + which list (general, daily drop). Unsubscribe in any email.
• Analytics — page views, clicks, and event signals (e.g., "back_clicked", "request_upvoted") via our self-hosted Matomo. No third-party trackers.
• Operational data — error logs, security audit trails. Retained 90 days.

What we never do

• Sell your data to third parties.
• Use Google / Facebook / Meta trackers. We run self-hosted Matomo.
• Profile you for advertising outside the UMG ecosystem.
• Share donor-side data with the vendor without your name on it.

Cross-ecosystem sharing

UmmahDeals integrates with other UMG properties — UmmahPass (membership identity), UmmahCauses (2.5% Giveback), UmmahPlaces (geo discovery). Sharing across these is operational (e.g., to mark a donation against your membership) and never sold or transferred outside UMG.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request deletion, or update your details at any time. Email salaam@ummahdeals.com. We respond within 7 days.

Cookies

We use one session cookie for login. We use Matomo first-party analytics cookies for traffic measurement. No third-party cookies.

Stripe

Payments are handled by Stripe Inc. under their privacy policy. We hold a Stripe customer ID and tokenized payment method reference — never the card number itself.

Changes

If we change this policy materially, we email everyone with an active account before the change takes effect.
