UmmahDeals

Trust by default.
Transparency by design.

Muslims have been let down by Big Tech (Gaza censorship, surveillance), by halal commerce (fake certifications, opaque pricing), by Muslim-marketing-as-usual (manipulation, scarcity theatre), and by charities (hidden fees).

UmmahDeals' counter-positioning isn't "we are halal" or "we are Muslim." It's: we are the platform that tells you the truth.

What we'll always tell you

Real prices.

Max price visible. Floor price visible. Threshold count visible. We don't hide what triggers the charge.

Honest halal attestation.

Every deal shows its attestation type — vendor self-attest, community-verified, or third-party certified. We never claim more than we know. See how we verify.

Public fail-postmortems.

When a drop doesn't fire, we say so. Same voice as the launch. "We needed 50, we got 12. No charge. Salah keeps his Saturday."

Fees disclosed up front.

7.86% commission to UMG. 2.5% of every fired drop goes to UmmahCauses. Stripe processing fees separate. No hidden lines.

No fire = no charge. Always.

Your card is authorized via Stripe Setup Intent at pre-order. We only call PaymentIntent when the threshold crosses. If we don't fire, your authorization is released. No exceptions, no fine print.

Cancel anytime before fire.

Backed a drop and changed your mind? Cancel from the deal page. Your hold is released within seconds.

What we'll also tell you when relevant

· If a deal's vendor has a complaint pattern, we publish it.

· If we get a deal wrong (mis-labeled, mis-priced), we email all backers, refund if applicable, and post a correction.

· If we don't know whether something is halal (and the vendor doesn't have third-party cert), we say "vendor self-attests" not "halal certified."

· If we're not sure about a sourcing claim, we say "we couldn't verify this."

"We are the platform that tells you the truth — including when the truth is 'we didn't make it.'"
