Terms of Service

By using ummahdeals.com you agree to these Terms. UmmahDeals is operated by Ummah Media Group LLC ("UMG", "we", "us").

1. How pre-orders work

When you back a drop, you authorize Stripe to place a card hold equal to the anchor price × quantity. We charge the floor price × quantity only when the deal's threshold crosses and the fire window closes. If the threshold isn't crossed, the authorization is released and you are not charged. You may cancel a pre-order at any time before fire by clicking "Cancel" on the deal page.

2. Fees and split

UMG charges a 7.86% commission on fired drops. 2.5% of every fired drop is donated to UmmahCauses. Stripe processing fees are paid separately. The vendor receives the remainder. All splits are disclosed on each deal page.

3. Membership (Ummah One)

Members who pay for an active Ummah One subscription at ummah.city/join receive: ability to back members-only drops, 2× vote weight on requests and threshold counts, and access to discount layers across the UMG ecosystem. Membership cancellation does not entitle a refund of past pre-orders.

4. Halal attestation

UmmahDeals publishes the halal attestation type for every deal (vendor self-attest, community-verified, or third-party certified). UMG does NOT issue halal certifications and does not guarantee the validity of vendor or third-party claims. If a deal is mis-attested, we will refund affected backers, correct the listing, and may flag the vendor publicly.

5. Refunds and fulfillment

If a fired drop fails to fulfill (vendor inability, shipment failure, mis-labeled product), we will refund affected backers within 7 days. For successful fulfillment, refund terms vary by category and are disclosed on each deal page.

6. Requests board

User-submitted requests are visible to other users. By submitting, you grant UMG a non-exclusive license to use the request title + description for sourcing and promotional purposes. We may moderate, edit, or remove requests that violate community standards.

7. Prohibited use

No scraping, vote manipulation, fake pre-orders, or content that violates Islamic ethics or US law. Account termination + Setup Intent voiding may follow.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is." UMG is not liable for vendor mis-attestation, shipping delays, or indirect damages beyond the value of your pre-order.

9. Governing law

California, USA. Disputes resolved in California state court.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes emailed to active accounts before they take effect.
